We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at Hamilton Twelve and it was amazing! From the first meeting, Annie (on-site coordinator) was super excited about all the details (which is always nice) and made sure every odd request we had was satisfied. She never overwhelmed us, but was always available when we called or emailed. The evening went by so smoothly, I was really able to enjoy the party without any unnecessary stresses. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the food was unbelievably delicious!! That's one of the first things my guests have commented on since the wedding. They had so many delicious menus to choose from so we knew we couldn't go wrong with any of the selections. I've already recommended the venue to several people and will continue to do so because it was an amazing experience and they made what already was a very special day so much more spectacular!

Magical

{Austin, TX, 2011} Our wedding at Hamilton Twelve was magical. The venue and surrounding grounds are beautiful, and the seclusion provided by the acres of live oaks makes it feel like you’re in a different world. Georgia, the owner, and Annie, the coordinator, were both spectacular once we were able to meet them face-to-face. The day of the wedding Annie was on top of everything. She kept the reception moving according to the timeline without ever making us feel rushed or hurried, and she kept a close eye on the two of us to make sure our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. Both the food and the staff were exceptional. None of the staff appeared to just be “doing his job”. Each person appeared to really care about our wedding and many stopped to congratulate us. My mom commented that staff seemed more like family. Annie and the Hamilton Twelve staff ensured that our wedding was perfect. And way under budget, too. Given the beauty of the venue, the incredible food, the amazing staff, and the unbelievable pricing, I can’t understand why Hamilton Twelve is not better known. (I had not heard of it before I started researching venues.) Everything about Hamilton Twelve is wonderful and we are so glad we chose to have our wedding there!

Amazing

We had our wedding on March 8, 2008 at the Hamilton Twelve. I started to write a review shortly after returning from the honeymoon, and then quickly realized that after writing out around 100 thank you notes, I never wanted to write anything ever again.

I would like to say that exhaustion has worn off, but it hasn't entirely. So I'll keep it short and sweet. When you book your wedding at the Hamilton Twelve, you get a "day of" event planner included in the cost of the rental. THAT IS HUGE.

The venue itself is beautiful, but if you have a specific color and decor theme and your heart is set on it, it had better have something to do with rich, deep reds with a little cream and gold thrown in. Otherwise you're going to be SOL. Fortunately, this was the first vendor we chose, so we were able to plan our theme around what was already there and ended up saving a bundle in the process. The bridal suite has a huge bathroom and plenty of mirrors for all the ladies to get ready before the ceremony. The groom and his guys get their own bungalow off the side of the courtyard, so you can both get ready on-site with little or no chance of accidentally bumping into each other.

The food was incredible, and we had fun choosing from the extensive menu during the planning process. The staff was polite and helpful. In fact, I should just say that I was pleased with every little thing except one: nobody thought to get my husband and I a sample of the appetizer we so painstakingly selected from the aforementioned menu. By the time we were done with our (actually very brief) posed photo shoot, those little blue cheese beef tenderloin crostinis were looooooong gone, and I had to spend a good two to three minutes of my wedding day being surly. If it hadn't been for that, I'd have given them five stars easy. All in all it's a great choice. Just make sure to make a mad dash on your way back down the aisle and nab yourself a passed appetizer before your drunk Uncle Ted fills a plate with them.
